How do you request Navy to send the CFA results from NASS to USMA and AFA? There does not appear to be an online request link. Do you send an email to admissions?

Contact your admissions counselor listed on your admissions page. It should be near the bottom with a name and email. In the email give them the forwarding information from USMA and USAFA. I don't know about USMA, but for USAFA the fax number/address is in the candidate packet with the CFA instructions.

I do not believe AFA will accept your NASS CFA results. Double check, but they didn't last year.

That's strange, they accepted my DS's and my DD's. They both ended up going to USNA (Classes of 2014 and 2016) so it wasn't that long ago.
This is the note on the CFA instruction pdf from 2 years ago:
"Note: Candidates who have taken the CFA as an applicant for the U.S. Military Academy or U.S. Naval Academy
are not required to retest for the Air Force Academy. The three service academies require the same 6-event CFA. If
you have already taken the CFA for Army or Navy, ask them to send or fax us a copy of the exam. Our fax number
is (719) 333-3012.
Any questions the examiner or candidate may have regarding this examination should be addressed to the
Admissions Office, United States Air Force Academy, 2304 Cadet Drive Ste 2300, USAF Academy, CO 80840-
5025. Telephone (800) 443-9266."

Well apparently they changed their minds again. Just read the fitness assessment page at USAFA and they will accept them from USNA or USMA.

The reason there is a single CFA is so that candidates don't have to take what would essentially be the same test multiple times. That is also, BTW, the reason that one SA may emphasize certain parts of the CFA over others, while a different SA may take a different approach -- for example, the BB throw is more important for WP than for USNA. So the test is the same, but what is passing, what is excelling, what events count the most, etc., will differ among the SAs.

My dd went to session 3 at nass. She took the cfa and said she didn't do that well. They told her they would email her how she did. She has not received any emails saying either pass or fail. On her portal it only says completed. Is there anyone out there that has received something different. Either a pass or fail notice in their portal as of yet. Thanks

Her BGO should be able to tell her whether she qualified or failed to qualify. That is all the BGO will know, i.e., s/he will not now how your DD achieved on the various events.

I don't think she'll get any email concerning how she did. Only an email confirming that a CFA score has been entered. (Or that is the way it was last year)

If you want to submit another score, email your BGO saying you want to do it again and include the email address of the coach or PE Instructor that will be giving the test and he/she should be able to forward that information.

My DD was told at NASS that she would be emailed if she failed, if she passed it would be posted to her portal. That said, she wasn't happy with her pull-up performance so she is planning to retake to try improve it even though she apparently "passed" since its up on her portal.

I'm planning to retest even though I passed at SLE, but I'm not sure whether to send them the scores I have now as kind of a placeholder. All I'm concerned about is my mile run, I had a very off day and ran a 9:47. Should I send my SLE scores to USNA and USAFA or wait till I retest?
