Over this summer I injured my knee at wrestling practice and needed arthroscopic surgery and because of that I am disqualified by DODMERB because it was less than 6 months ago, but I have full mobility back and can do just about everything I could prior to the accident. My CFA looked good and I have three varsity letters. However, within the next year, I will need another surgery to implant the cartridge that I lost back into my knee. Because I got injured before the academy, and need this procedure while (hopefully) attending the academy, will this disqualify me completely? If not, when is it easier to have the surgery?

If you are still in need of a surgery you are unlikely to be cleared to attend an Academy until the issue is completely resolved.
