Vulcan Statue Birmingham. Roll Tide. Thought it was in Bessemer at first then the remembered smell of the pulp mills from Mobile on a hot day brought me back.

The smell of pulp mills is only rivaled by the stench that comes from the feed lots in West Texas. On a cool evening in Clovis, NM when the wind wasn't blowing out of the west too hard, you could smell them from 40 miles away.
