Has the waiting twisted my mind? Think the portal changed...

In my sons portal on the overview page, the nomination info and medical status were on the left column or side of the portal overview page. In fact, even last night. However, this morning it is all on the right side at the bottom of the school evaluation section. OK, so....am I way too observant or is something on the horizon? I have a feeling I may be looking into this entirely too much. He is 3Q'd with a nom (ranked 2nd) and the PNom denied his appointment just two days ago.

Have you changed browsers? Is the window size different? Depending on the the page is laid out these things alone could cause this. Methinks you are trying to read way too much into this.
 
After reading your post, I checked DS' and it also has everything on the right side. 3Q'd, nom, LOE.....still waiting....
 
No -- the webpage did change for my son also and we checked late last night and it had not changed yet. It looks like an area made for additional instructions to be posted but who knows!
 
My portal had change in the same way this morning. Hoping that it's an indication of a status change coming in the near future.... 3q'd, 2 Congressional Nominations.
 
The portal did change, you are not going crazy. There were additional items posted in the left column for candidates with offers of admission.
 
I have an acceptance and all of my data moved as well. It was to make room for all the instructions and forms that need to be completed before R day. I'm guessing they are making room on your portal for those instructions as well. Best Wishes!!!

Looks like they all changed. I am thinking in to everything so much I have no idea what my son looks like anymore. I am getiing completely mentally punch drunk! I am so excited to see everyone getting their appointments that I think, at times, I am seeing things. Like the electric bill in ther mail box looks nothing like the BFE, but I question that electric bill's motives and appearance.

I'll be OK. Anyone else a lil' goofy from the process and now suspense?
 
Portal changed as well. 3 Q'd, LOE, Presidential, Congressional first alternate.

WP FB page did state that more BFE's going out this week. Did not state how many but more are being mailed.

Fingers, toes and eyes all crossed......

Someone posted a question on the admissions page yesterday asking when the next BFEs will come out and admissions responded with this.

"More appointments will go in the mail this week. We will continue to send out on a regular basis until the class is filled."
 
Hopefully it means our portals that changed may see an offer.

WeinerDog I think you're reading way too much into a mere layout change on a portal page. I'm confident it changed for everyone. I worked in web software development for 15 years and one doesn't generally change the overall page layout for just some folks... instead you leave blank areas on pages for all folks that can later be filled in for some folks. AT least that's what's done whenever possible.

I do hope an appointment is in the immediate future, but I don't think this is an indication of it.

Just checked and DS portal changed too. That is a mighty big space to fill in that portal!
DS has LOE, 3Qd, 2 noms etc.... Seems to be cool, calm and collected and not following the forums which could be a good thing!

I agree, I am sure all portals have changed. Yet I find it important to remain positive and hopeful despite the transactions during this period, especially for all of us who have yet to hear anything. Even if it is a QNS, it's closure.

As time goes by, I find less solace in DS having an LOE. Pulled it out again to read and it says "at that time" USMA found DS highly qualified and a strong candidate etc., etc, .etc., their feelings may have changed from that time this time! :eek:
