Hopeful USMA Class of 2028 : a place to play the waiting game together.

Going by the picture on the WP Admissions IG story, about 40 appointments went out to the Southeast region yesterday or today. Noticed a couple of posts on the self-reporting list from Georgia AND posts here of calls from MOCs this week. From what I've read elsewhere on this forum, the "big push" of appointments would have happened in late January or early February. Is there any collective sense that things are running behind schedule this year? Also, is the 7th semester reporting a new requirement this year, and if so, is it possible this could be a reason things are behind schedule (if in fact they are)? Thanks!
 
My DD portal showed "Offered Appointment to Civil Prep" . She has already been accepted to MMI, but I was still holding out hope until we saw this update this morning. Is her 2028 dream over? We are thrilled with the AOG Scholarship, just looking for closure.

My DS received an appointment today in the big SE batch (Florida)!!! Couldn’t be more proud! I wanted to thank everyone for all of the great information available on this forum. I have been learning from your posts for the past 2 or 3 months. Finally got a handle on the acronyms and abbreviations about a week ago😂😂😂. The information I found on here really helped with the last push to completion. Thank you!

Pretty sure it means look to 2029 and an AOG scholarship is something to be proud of.

There is still hope, but I HIGHLY recommend accepting the AOG Scholarship. If an appointment comes through, then no big deal in turning down the AOG and JR College acceptance. Depending on where you live, you should also consider GMC as they are PHENOMENAL in preparing their scholars for SA life!
