How does the offer of appointment display in the portal

@Haginsway6302 to clarify, have you received an LOA, an appointment, or now both? I saw your name listed in the appointment thread, where the intent is to list only those that have received appointments and not LOAs. Good luck or congrats in any case.

Both, I was just trying to help those with questions specifically on the LOA. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you so much!
 
@Haginsway6302 Did you have to click the "appointments & interviews" link to see your LOA? Whenever I click it, I get an error saying "Invalid permission set assigned to current user security profile. Please have the system administrator check the TargetX Logs for details."

No, if you go back a few posts in this thread you will see a picture i posted that shows what it should look like. It will come up as a pop up that says your decision is ready in gold letters with a picture of a gold envelope. That is where your LOA will be if you get one.

When it states your decision is ready.

Does the gold envelope also reflect an appointment or just an LOA?

Thats a good question. Mine still just reflects my LOA whenever i go to click on it. I found out about my actual appointment very recently through my congresswoman so I am not too sure.

Bouncing off your question, in that same envelope are rejections placed? Or is a rejection through email or postal services? Thank you.
 
Mine seems like an LOA because it stats that I have an offer of appointment to NAPS contingent of completing everything else needed. All I need is a medical waiver and today I went on USNA admissions live chat and the LT told me that my waiver has been started. So, we shall see if my letter changes to an acceptance letter saying Congratulations to NAPS c/o 2022 whenever my waiver is done being processed.

Naps doesn‘t give out LOA’s. LOA’s are reserved for the academy itself. nonetheless congratulations!

This was an email from USNA admissions and not a mailed TWE? What did the email say if you don't mind sharing?
