Hello everyone,

I have recently received an appointment to West Point, and I will be accepting it. How do I contact USNA to let them know of my decision?

Congratulations. And well done for thinking to inform USNA. A phone call to your admissions liaison officer and your BGO would work well. Best wishes to you.

NAVYXC939, congrats on your appointment. Hoping to join you next summer. Yes, what type of nomination do you have? What state are you from? LOA/LOE? Recruited athlete? How were you notified?

Thank you! I have a superintendent nomination. I got an LoA a couple months ago. I am a recruited athlete, and I was notified by my coach. The certificate of appointment will be coming in the mail soon! :) I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your application.

Sista please....

The reliable thing about the pendulum of SA athletics - everyone takes a turn languishing in the hurt locker, and then, inevitably, the pendulum swings back. I cannot imagine how awful it was, the years, and years, and years, of sequential losses in the A-N game. And now, a Navy-trained coach has helped Army climb out of the hurt locker and enjoy their time on the upswing of the pendulum. Something karmic about that!

Yes but I've noticed that Army fans never seem to talk about the annual "Star Competition" that encompasses all sports where the two compete on a varsity level.
I'm not talking about this year or this past few years, I'm talking about pretty much every year.
