I am applying early action for class of 2028 and I have not received an email saying my application is under review. Should I be worried?

Did anyone else get this? It seemed odd to get it after DD had submitted her application Oct 13 for EA, seeing that it is dated Oct 24. She checked the EA box and submitted before the deadline- must be just a delay in the CGA getting brochures out.

Did that come snail mail? Were your daughters letters of rec and PFE submitted by their due dates? Seems odd the letter states "first part of your application"

My DD received it at the beginning of September. She submitted her application in mid-August and the letter was dated Aug 29

Yes! Did it also come with a sticker and a parent handbook? We received it after EA application too. My son was thinking it was an appointment package bc it came the week the first round of calls were being made 😭

Mine received it too - and also applied EA. All of his LOR were in before we submitted and PFE.

My DS received it. Some of his LORs were submitted a little after the 24th and his PFE. I assume he’ll be one of the last reviewed for EA.

We received that too. My son just schedule the physical and vision appointment yesterday. He did not receive the dodmerb letter, but found out about in the website.

Yes, snail mail. She didn’t hit submit until everything was submitted by teachers, counselors, LOR’s, and PFE. It does seem odd, especially because the date is a week after she submitted. She did get the email last week that her app is heading into review.

She keeps checking the DODMerb website- using her Soc # and last name. We even checked her app to make sure she didn’t write a wrong Soc. When did your son get his app submitted? Good luck to him!

Has she tried dodmets? That's the site where she would schedule her exams. It's different than dodmerb, which is where her exam results will be posted.

He submitted on 10/13 and got DODMERB email about a week later. His AO and coach told him to look for it and to let them
Know right when he qualified. The whole process took less than 2
Weeks - we were lucky there were open appointments and we were on fall break. Maybe she needs to check in with AO? Best of luck to your daughter too.

He submitted beginning of October. He did not get an email, but he has been checking this bears den account everyday. Good luck to your daughter as well. Waiting is such a difficult thing to do.

Physical exam and eye exam are also part of the “application.” If applicants have not completed these, then the letter is correct - only the first part of the application is submitted.

Yes. We used the same website, we just found out about the dismemberment request last Saturday through this… my son did not receive an email notification.

This is what she’s been trying- I may have typed it incorrectly in my post question. Thank you!View attachment 15052
Clear cache.
Try different browser(s), including older ones.
Confirm it is DoDMEYS and not DoDMERB site.
Use hyphens in SSN (not “dashes” as incorrectly noted on the form).
