Hi, I am a dependent of an Officer currently stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Since I am currently in the application process, I was recently notified that it was time to login to DoDMETS and complete a profile. Unfortunately, the profile needs an American address and phone number, which I cannot provide. What do international students do in this case? Is there another website? How can I provide DoDMERB with my correct information? Thank you so much.

This thread may be helpful. I am sure Mr. Mullen, Deputy Director at DoDMERB, will pop up to offer advice. This is a routine occurrence every year.

And, you are not really an international student, you are a U.S. citizen temporarily residing outside the country. International students at the SAs are foreign nationals who follow a different process through their home country to apply to attend, in accordance with DoD and DoS agreements, do not apply for nominations from U.S. elected representatives, earn their degree but not a commission in the U.S. armed forces, and are commissioned into their own country’s service or other government service. I don’t want you to read the guidance on SA websites for international students and think it is for you.

This should all work out relatively easily for you, assuming there is a military MTF where your family is stationed.

Thank you greatly for your help and quick response! I will take a look at the thread to see what I need to do.
