Is It OK to Ask Your Senator to Reschedule Your interview?

I just heard from one of our senators inviting me to an interview today. The catch is that the day is the same day that I am scheduled to retake the ACT and this is my last chance to take the ACT for my ROTC application.

Is it acceptable to request a time later in the day or to ask to move the interview to another day?

TIA

That is one of the few things that the MOC's do understand and can appreciate. You'll be speaking with the senator's staff, who is in charge of the applications. Ask them if they are interviewing on more than one day. Let them know that ACT tests are only given on Saturdays, and this is the Saturday that you are scheduled to take it. If they have other interview dates, I'm sure they'll have no problem.

As CC said you need to check with them. For our DS's interview date, that was the only one they offered. They pulled everyone in and pushed it out in one day. I do know that some MOCs will do a telephone interview. Again, you need to check with them for their options in your situation.
