Is it too late to go to the Academy? Do I have a shot? Anxious and discontent

Good luck during the application process! I went to civilian college for two years before going to West Point. It’s not too late.
Ensure you don’t waste your experiences at civilian school pining for USNA/USMA, though. Especially if you go to an academy, you want those memories!

I agree with GoArmyBeatNavy, although it may be too late to apply as a senior in high school, that doesn’t mean it’s too late for next year, and the year after that until you turned 23.
I couldn’t get to apply from highschool this year because of personal reasons. But I’m planning on starting again next year when I’m in college or a military institute. I haven’t done this myself yet but what I do know is make sure you have a plan B in college in case you couldn’t go to the Academy. I know this one person who didn’t get into the USAFA 3 times but on his 4th time reapplying, he got in.
