My son is showing an interest in going to a military college. He is just in 9th grade. A co-worker told me about this site a couple months ago and I've read some threads already. Looking forward to learning more, since my son's interest seems to be growing.
 
Welcome - two navigational tips:

Read the Stickies on forums of interest. They reside at the top. Second, the Acronym thread can be found in the Community forum.
 
Thank you. I saw the acronym list. It is somewhat intimidating in that there are so many to see. I also see some "stickies" for some topics but not for all of them. I assume that's right that they don't all have them.
 
The threads themselves can serve as stickies although they don't stick to the top of the first page. Use the search function to seek out info on individual topics and then ask here if your question(s) are not answered. Again, welcome aboard.
 
Welcome and good for you for starting early! It will be very helpful later on down the road.
