Letters of Recommendation

Hello again KP forum!
I am in the process of completing my application and have narrowed almost everything down, like the online application, CFA (done at usna summer seminar), essays, etc. However, I didn't see where to insert the contact information for my letters of recommendation and high school counselor. Should this show up soon in my application portal or should I have them mail the required information to the academy? Just a little cloudy on where exactly the next step is. Thanks to all!

yes, I've submitted the online portion, however the application didn't have a contact info section for letters of recommendation so I was wondering if I would need to send an email with this info or if it's something i need to wait to see in the portal?

We did both. You can attach the LOR directly to the application or if you have additional attachments later, those can be emailed directly to the admissions office to be added to your file. It doesnt hurt to send a copy to your regional area coordinator also.

Some patience might be dictated because of recent/current events. Graduation just occurred this past weekend, and INDOC starts on July 5th. Staff is busy and many might also be on vacation in this small window of time. Good that you are on top of things and checking frequently!

Hey, I sent an email to my regional representative, LCDR Wheeler, and am waiting on a response. I'm assuming that once the application is submitted there will be a checklist and you either submit contacts there or give their info to your rep
