Literally being threatened by former Rotc staff for cac card.

Hey All, a few weeks ago I posted a question on the rotc forum about turning in my cac card. I’m a former cadet and once I left, no one told me to turn in my cac card I didn’t even know. They contacted me pretty recently saying that I must turn in my cac back into the rotc unit, I told them that o won’t have time to go back out of state to the school just to drop off my cac and instead dropped it off at a military base which was fine.

I got a call where the staff yelled at me and are literally threatening me because of my cac card. What do I do?

What are they threatening you with? I mean if you what you did was right, what can they threaten you with that you need to take them serious?

Send them your CAC card...too easy.

@clarksonarmy , they said they wanted me to turn it in by person. I offered to mail but they said no.

@Humey they are saying they will try to contact my plc staff and any future jobs I have about me not being responsible.

I don’t understand why turning it in to a military base is wrong. Honestly, this makes me very mad at this unit.

Here is what I would do...go down to the post office, put your card in a mailer and send it return receipt requested to your old ROTC unit. Next time they call tell them it’s in the mail and they should let you know when they receive it...too easy.

Did you drop it off at a military base?

@clarksonarmy , I turned in my card to a nearby military base. I won’t get it back. That’s what friends and family in the military have told me to do and said what you did is fine. I don’t have the time or resources to go back to the school.

Hey "warrior."

I provided you the answer to your question and the links to said answers. At this point, you are trolling this forum. Some are biting.

/ End Thread.

Ok...did you tell your old ROTC unit what you did. If so, suggest to them that they contact where you turned in your card to confirm, and suggest to them that the next time they contact you it should be through your lawyer. You did the right thing, and they have nothing on you...relax.

@Soldiergriz ,

Sir, if you were me you would understand the stuff I’m going through right now. I did exactly what you said to do in my old forum, my card is in the military base. I turned it back in.
