LOA

LOA means more for someone who does not get an appointment -- which is the real goal.
Huh??? Not sure I understand that one.

Getting an LOA and not getting an appointment is a swift kick in the gut. It's somewhat heartbreaking. Trust me. I had to watch my kid go through it.

I also said somewhere on this forum -- not having an LOA is good. Having a low expectation then having a wonderful surprise when receiving an appointment -:)

Just trying to have a positive view on both situations.

This is not the time for your DS to coast. He still has to do well in those nomination interviews and get a nomination.
When/if that happens, it's all good until I-Day. ;)
Sorry I've been seeing DS and DD all over this forum, would you mind clearing these abbreviations up? I don't know the terminology.
