The State Highway Patrol said that the driver of the tactical vehicle had been charged with one count of exceeding a safe speed and two misdemeanor counts of death by motor vehicle.

This is so tragic. One more example that even daily routine travel is and can be dangerous. Rest in peace and comfort to those injured and the families, friends, and fellow Marines of those lost.

Yes defintely, I also do hope the Marine who was operating the truck, and speeding is held to justice.

While I agree my heart breaks. Not a chance in hell they meant to kill their fellow company mates. So tragic.

Most defintinely understandable.... I just feel like the driver should be held to justice... I don't see a good excuse to be speeding with a 7 ton truck...

Especially since there is a traffic light at that intersection.
