Medically Processed, but boarded/under consideration

The titles is what follows essentially..

I competed for the first board, but I did not get and therefore has since moved onto the January Board.

however I received a DodMETS request and on the physical packet it stated “ROTC Scholarship Army” in the boxes for what it’s for. DoDMERB has since qualified me (although USMMA is the agency it’s under) but I’m just confused as to why I was medically processed when I have moved onto the next board and don’t know yet if I’m awarded a scholarship.

I believe that if you apply to any SA or USMMA you will automatically be given a date, time and location for your DoDMERB. You will be able to use the results of this DoDMERB for your ROTC scholarship if and when you receive it.

Thank you! I was just super confused as to why my DoDMERB was processed under the scholarship when I haven’t received one!
