Looking for opinion and advice on non-typical situation.
My daughter did some counceling and zoloft for about 4 months due to covid isolation limiting class / social life. As things opened up she was fine and the doctor considered the “mood disorder” resolved and took her off the medication one month ago. The other consideration is she’s starting afrotc as a sophomore on a 3 year plan, which means she’ll start the DoDMERB process almost immediately ahead of field training next summer.
How much of a factor is time being off of a medication? (She’ll have been off the med for 2 months)
Is it a big enough factor that she should consider taking a year off or forcing a 4 year plan with extra classes to create a bigger gap so she’s been off the meds for a year?
She wants to just stick to her 3 year plan and go for it. Seeking opinion and advice.
