My competitivness

All my EC's are from high school. My college didnt really have any EC's. Its a really small college. Same thing with my AP's and honors, all from high school. My college doesnt have any honors.

I know this is going to sound whiny but I do not know how to convey the tone of this message any other way. I know that gaining admission this is not on my side this year.

1) I do not have the test scores. Currently have a 26 and have one more test (Feb.) Unlikely I will be able to get a 30 or better.

2) I do not have the GPA.
-Freshman Comp- B
-Algebra- A
-Chemistry- B
- ROTC- A
-History- A

I know everyone will say that there is more ways to become an officer, but I am not working my butt off to settle for alternatives. I want to strive for the best. However, I guess there is next year to apply.

Those grades would be fine if they are honors/AP level (which it doesn't look like they are). Academies do factor in course difficulty when evaluating grades.

Plus if the A in algebra had been an A in calculus you would be in better shape. But hey, you have nothing to lose by applying.

I know I should have taken calculus but I could not register for it for the fall semester; I did not meet the criteria. But Ill complete my application for this year and see what happens.
