NASS (Session 1) to SLE (Session 2)

Hello,

I will attend both NASS Session 1 and SLE Session 2, and am curious how people are managing the layover between the two.

I will be travelling alone from the West Coast, and am wondering if anyone has insight into transit and/or hotels/hostels/places to stay (preferably on the less expensive side).

I did this last year but in the reverse order, I started at West Point and then went to USNA. My parents rented a car and drove me on Friday after SLE ended and we had a hotel room nearby USNA that Friday night. We had a hotel that had laundry facilities which I needed because all my stuff was really dirty and sweaty after SLE. USNA Summer Seminar started on Saturday around noon. I took the USNA bus to Baltimore airport after Summer Seminar ended and flew home on my own.

I know both schools help with transport to and from airports, so maybe you could look into the bus at USNA that gets you to Baltimore airport, and then fly to Newark or even take a train. From Newark you could get a hotel or ask West Point admissions about where to get the bus for transport to SLE. Ask if they can hook you up with a hotel / roommate to share the price of the hotel that night.
