It’s that vintage-retro look and feel. They probably were.

Why do all the forms I’m getting to read and sign from the Navy appear to have been typed on an electric typewriter in 1983.

Just consider the artistry and skill it required to faithfully replicate the 1983 vintage look and feel on these forms.
