Have to have the exact right ingredients. Goslings & Barritt's ginger beer. Fever Tree is good in a pinch. Now that I've sold my boat, having a D&S in the bar is the only reason I stay a member at our yacht club.

Check your local liquor stores for the Gosling's Black Seal Bermuda rum. I think you can order Barritt's ginger beer through WalMart if your local supermarket doesn't carry it. Over ice with a wedge of lime. Don't be stingy with the rum.1640143851478.png

I got the anthrax series a few years ago for orders to Korea. I just try not to read about it on the Internet. A long list of vaccines are required, and never before have people been so concerned about any single vaccine as they are now.

Yup. We didn’t have anyone refuse it in my National Guard unit.
Got small pox again. My wife had to get it two more times as she carries natural immunity, so she doesn’t scar.
Yellow fever.
First round of rabies (for Africa).
While I was in basic training there was a bad outbreak of the flu that season. A few trainees at other bases died. So we got lined up and given shots. No questions, no explanation, just line up and get your flu shot.
When I went to get my COVID vaccine I was surprised to see there was no more room on my international vax card.

Well, before they die a horrible death this winter it appears the unvaccinated do serve some purpose. From the linked article:

The vaccine’s human trials took longer than expected, he said, because the lab needed to test the vaccine on subjects who had neither been vaccinated nor previously infected with COVID.

Increasing vaccination rates and the rapid spread of the Delta and Omicron variants made that difficult.
“With Omicron, there's no way really to escape this virus. You're not going to be able to avoid it. So I think pretty soon either the whole world will be vaccinated or have been infected,” Modjarrad said.

If the whole world is vaccinated or infected pretty soon then that should end this issue.

Apparently, I can drive to my Total Wine store and get this curbside right now. I am not sure if it will compare to one made in front of me with a fresh lime wedge, but I must say Gosling’s doesn’t miss a bet.

And I do apologize to the folks here who continue with the original vein of conversation. I mean no disrespect. I had to retire to The Sidebar and think about other things with some like-minded souls, and could not bestir myself to drop into the Cocktail thread.

I plan on experimenting with Barritt’s and Gosling’s ginger beer tonight. I have a lot of good memories attached to the Gosling’s variety so I expect I will be biased.
