Hi!

I was wondering something, on my state represenatives websites, it says addmission is on a rolling basis. What does this mean? Can you believe this?! My congessman doesn't even post his applications on the internet, you have to call for them. Better yet, he doesn't accept any applications postmarked before July 22! And the deadline is October 2.I'm not complaining about it, it's just so weird of how short of time he gives you for submitting applications. That's the shortest time for nominations I've ever heard of. By the way, does anybody know if Florida, particularly Ocala region,or district 07 is a competitive area in the place of nomiations? I've heard that several states are more competitive than others.
Thanks.

it's all about making deadlines and being an officer. get your stuff in early!! you'll be better off than putting it off till august or september when you're classes will start for senior year. and yep, some states are more competitive than others. florida, california, texas, and any other big states are very competitive. good luck! :thumb:

Bigcox,

Thank for the reply on both of my threads. Darn! I was hoping Florida wasn't a competitive state, kind of unnerves me a bit. Still, I guess it's better than trying for application where I used to live-Chicago(3.2 million pop vs. 105,000). I'll do my best though, now matter what. Thanks again for replying!

Deadlines are an easy way of whittling the number of applicants. Seriously.

GOOD!

I'm already prepared for the appliation files. In fact, I bet I could send it out July 23. Got my transcripts, LOR's, test scores, the like. Thanks for the info sir!
