does anyone know if more weight is put on Tier 1 vs. Tier 2 majors? I know that the website says 85% of scholarships go to Tier 1 & 2 but there is no mention of one being more favorable than the other other than the fact that one is 1 and the other is 2. Additionally, I know that CS is a Tier 2, but would a Computer Science/Business Administration degree (it's not a double major, just a degree offered at the college I'll be attending) be Tier 2 or Tier 3?

NROTC makes no distinction between Tier 1 and Tier 2 when it comes to scholarship selection. Both are considered "technical" majors.

As for your second question, contact the unit at the school. It would depend on the curriculum for the actual degree. I'm sure they've gotten that question before.
