profsparrow, north of Pgh. We have been dubbed Pennsyltucky because of a little bit of southern twang I suppose? I have been lurking for quite a while and like most...my DS is waiting more patiently than I for the mailman. Congrats to all who received their BFE's! What an honor!

<sigh> I guess I should jump on board here. My DS is a reapplicant this year and is definitely more nonchalant about the wait than I am. But I haven't let on that I stalk this forum, the mailbox, and his emails...and the facebook page for academy admissions. He is even willing to apply again for next year if he fails to get an appointment this time around. I just hope I don't have to do this a third time. :bang:

A question for those with BFE's - is there a time frame you have in which to accept the appointment? Thank you in advance!

My DS received his BFE about a month ago. He had until May 1st to accept. We made him sit on it a few weeks to make sure this was absolutely what he wanted. Papers were signed and sent back yesterday. Yeah!
