The monthly stipend at USAFA is about 1200/month... from what I understand, most (or all?) of that money will be used during the first months to pay for the initial expenses.

During that time, will I receive any monthly income? If so, how much will I get paid?

You will receive income each month. The amount of income you receive each month will vary though. I found this chart from the USAFA website and it gives a detailed breakdown of how pay is deducted and the net pay for cadets by class. I’m not sure if they will follow this exact same deduction pattern for CO 2025, but at least it gives you an idea. In some months you get paid more than you do in other months. Overall, as you get closer to graduation, you receive more pay each month. Hope this helps!

Thank you! Is the yellow highlighted line the amount of money directly deposited into the average cadet's account?

Last year it seemed to me that our daughter first take home paycheck was over a $1,000. Then each month she brought home $350-$450. Now that the year is over she has over $8,000 in her account. I will add though that she had money from summer jobs in high school in another bank so she used that money during the year for off base food and other events. So based on this I would guess you would take home around $8,000 during the year. I am not sure how that number aligns with the graph though.
