Permit to Report!!

If I understand correctly, you see your Plebe when you drop them off and then don't see them again until after the 6pm Oath? 11 1/2 hours later.....Is that correct?

Some lucky parents get to see their Plebe's during the days activities, but as I understand it their Plebe will NOT acknowledge them as they are to "keep their 'eyes in the boat' ", so it is just like not seeing them until after the Oath.

I don't think everyone goes in at 0630, so some will have more time in the am to spend...

Got my Permit To Report yesterday, here in arizona. Did someone earlier say we have to return it by May 15? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there some forms due the 15th and others the 30th.
 
The "Important Information" booklet would like to have "items 1-9 in the Immediate Action Required" section returned ASAP, no later than May 30th.
 
The only date I've seen so far in the PTR is May 30th. What forms are supposed to be due the 15th?

Son's reporting in time is 8am...
 
MAY 15 Deadline

Hi All,
Check under Medical Section. Glasses form and a copy of a recent TB (PPD) test are required by May 15. Otherwise, everything else is due May 30.
My Report time is 0730
 
I think this is doable... looks like most of the immunizations are okay with the exception of Hep A(they need 2 doses 6 months apart) and Menactra. Anyone know what Menactra is for?

What's your reporting time? Mine's at 0730.

After the Oath of Office you will meet on Stribling under the sign with the first letter of their last name. Along with food and drink bring a blanket or something else for them to sit on. Keeps the grass stains/dirt off the white works. We used a light, easily folded, easily carried tabelcloth. Worked for us at the picnic also.

Reporting times are staggered throughout the morning. Be advised that if a Plebe to be is wandering around the entrance to Alumni prior to their reporting time they will be herded in. For some reason they are easily identified. If you are on the Yard early and want to spend some time together do not go near the front enterance of Alumni Hall.
 
Our son also has a 9 a.m. report time ... and we're from Reno, NV
 
Our son also has a 0900 report time.

just in case anyone but me was wondering - Menactra is the meningitis vaccine...
 
My report time is 7:30. Kind of right in the middle...not too early, but not too late either. Less than 2 months away now! Man that's crazy to think about! GO NAVY!
