I had the opportunity to attend NASS this summer. Is that too recent of an event to use in the "Describe a personal experience you have had which you feel has contributed to your own character development and integrity" section of the question? Thanks!

Are you saying you want to write about something that happened at NASS? If so, timing has nothing to do with it. Just ask yourself, is that the experience that best addresses the prompt? Was the experience the greatest contributor to your character development and integrity? If so, write away. If not, then write about another experience.

Alright. Thank you!! I’ve heard talk on these boards about bringing resumes/transcripts... is that only something you do if you’re told specifically to bring those things?

@Rileighsevig, I’m not following you. What do resume/transcript have to do with personal statement?

Yes, it is appropriate to bring copies of a resume or CV to a MOC interview.

I have not heard of bringing transcripts, but it would be okay. I just don't think they would be that useful, in my opinion.

... and presumably the MOC and his/her committee has also think info since it was included in the package you submitted. If there are significant updates I would bring that. For example, receiving an LOA, represented my school at some extremely important function, etc.

Of course if the MOC office directs you to bring something, bring it.
