PFT Administration

Hi,

I am currently facing a dilemma with getting my PFT administered. I go to an online high school, so I do not have access to any coaches or PE teachers. I've tried contacting a few at my old school and at local high schools, but I have had no luck so far. Would it be okay if my neighbor, a retired US Navy Master Chief administered the test?

Not sure if its allowed but what about asking a local recruiter to do it? Be ready for the sales pitch to get you to join instead of go ROTC... I'm sure one of the local high schools would gladly help you out.

I contacted the local Army recruiter this summer regarding the possibility of enlisting and met with him. When he called me afterwards, I told him I had decided the enlisted path was not for me. He was less than thrilled, and I am not keen on the prospect of contacting him again. I've made efforts to email my Air Force and Navy recruiters, but neither have gotten back to me. Nobody at any local high schools have replied to me either. This has been a problem for the past couple of weeks, and my PMS interview is scheduled for Friday the 25th, so I need to have it done by then. I'm sort of at the end of my rope here. I've never heard anything saying retired military couldn't administer the test, so would it really disqualify me?

I honestly don't know the answer to your question, but I would do one of the following:
1. Have your neighbor administer the test and submit it. If there is a problem with that you should be able to redo it with someone else.
2. Ask the PMS if there is someone there who can administer it after the interview (or before the interview?).
3. Call cadet command and get an official answer.

Concur with Kinnem...I would have suggested getting it done at the Battalion where you interview.
