I received an email this morning from a PMS at one of the universities that I am applying to. It is a T20 school, and I have excluded any identifying information.
Can anyone interpret what this email means? I have received two emails from other universities during my application process, but I found that the timing of the this email was relatively in line with the board's decision-making period, so I was also wondering if this factor has anything to do with it.
Good morning Mr. (Name Redacted),
I tried to call you earlier this morning as I am excited that you are considering an Army ROTC scholarship and (Name Redacted) University. Based off a quick review of your file, I believe you will likely be awarded a 4 year ROTC scholarship as well as have a high probability of admittance to (Name Redacted) University.
If you have not visited (Name Redacted) yet, I would be more than happy to host you for a campus visit in the near future.
Regardless of where you are at in the process, I would like to discuss our program and (Name Redacted) University with you at greater length as I think you would be an ideal fit. As the department head, I am personally contacting you because I obviously want you to consider our program. However, I will say that I am absolutely committed to the success of our future Army officers no matter where you decide to go to school so please consider me as a resource toward your future development as a leader. Finally, I would like to offer you a chance to be contacted by one or more of our (Name Redacted) students, who are currently in the program, to answer any questions you may have and provide relevant insights from a student perspective.
My contact information is below and I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
(Name Redacted)
