Preparing for Summer Camp

Good Evening,
One of the items on the list includes predominately white running shoes. I tried to find some Brooks that were all white but they're difficult to find. What shoes do you all, current mids and alumni, recommend? I don't wear Nike as they typically run narrow and I have wide feet. Thanks so much!

Many mids wear blue/white or gray/white shoes and those are fine. Try to get something that does not draw attention to yourself such as the current trend toward neon. I find Saucony is great for wider feet and most of their styles come in many colors, including mostly white. You will put a lot of stress on your feet with running and standing on hot pavement all day during INDOC. Make sure your shoes fit well and are broken in. I would recommend a second pair to have sent or to pick up after parents weekend.
 
Question comes up every year. My son found ASICS he liked in a mix of white with some grey accents. No issues. Make sure broken in. We had to send another pair in November as they took a lot of abuse that summer of indoc.

Couldn't help but laugh at the fact that you referred to Indoc as "Summer Camp." Be sure and let all of the Indoc Cadre know that you are "happy to report to Summer Camp." :biggrin: Actually, no.....DON'T do that!! just kidding......
 
I wear EEE and can always find a pair of New Balance that fit well
 
Ended up finding a pair that works. Thank you all so much for the advice!!
