Very much no sadly. Alot of my prep school friends were rejected with the first wave. But have hope if rejected. There's still a good chance of prep school. Unless it medical then the chances are lower.

They were falcon scholars. To clarify this was last year I'm talking about. Most of us were rejected and offered a scholarship in the same email but the other group were rejected then offered the scholarship up to a month later.

Self prep were also rejected in march, but the majority were rejected in April.

Oh. I thought you were talking about just in the last few weeks. Cool. And congrats btw!!! I really hope I get to meet you in June. I’ve been following you on here for a while!

Since their have been USAFA acceptances dated back to then for 2026, they probably were, just those recipients aren't on the forums.

Haha yea sorry about hence why I clarified. I realized after I wrote it how it could be misinterpreted.

Falcons are only rejected if we fail our class, our fail prep school( which yes does include if the teachers say your not a good fit and trust me it can take only one serious incident of lacking integrity to do this), do something against the law/usafa's rules (drinking, smoking or getting married) , or get injured/really sick.

I'm sure USAFA can reject a falcon for any reason because well we signed a contract but it's their choice still. However our contract states what I said above, I'm sure there's wiggle room for everything however I'm not going to be the one testing it. I'm staying in my nice DCID column. Which hopefully we'll both be apart of come June

I don't want to spoil the fun, but you don't have a decision to make if you don't get an appointment. Open it!!!!!

In other words, they have made a decision; therefore, there IS a decision in his portal. We are well aware there could be bad news; hence why he's waiting until after school today to open it.

Congrats to him and the entire family. I did not want to spoil the suspense, but when they receive that notification, the decision is to accept or not. I hated for y'all their was angst around it. I hope you get to celebrate and enjoy. All the Best! Go Air Force!
