I've sent them the SAF many times and most started following the appointment thread once they knew it was an option. However there was many of them who didn't want to know what's going on.It's not difficult for them to join SAF and self-report, just sayin'...
I actually started some nerves by letting them know about the first NWP being on the list. Even with acceptance in hand, for them it's easier not to have username and not to be involved. They have no problem with me reporting what state and the information I gave but for their sake they don't want to join.
I personally love hearing others worries, excitements and other advice, but as I've gone along I find many don't. It's like those who talk at the start line of race ( cough me), the outcome will probably be the same but it make people more nervous even if it's their teammate trying to calm their worries. For alot of people they prefer to see what come than being warned or helped before hand. I respect their thought process and always remind them we have welcoming community for worries or situations that may occur.
