Hi all!

I’m wondering if anyone knows the dates of R-day and Beast for the class of 2025. I have a school trip sometime in June and I am really hoping that the two wouldn’t conflict as it would be my last chance to go on this trip, seeing as how it was cancelled this year due to COVID-19.

My trip is scheduled for June 23rd-27th.

I don't think there is any way R-Day will happen on time if graduation is 13 June. Nothing official, no inside information, just an educated guess.

Class of 2024 R Days spanned 3 days - each cadet was assigned a time and day to report. It may be a similar set-up this year, but not sure. If you’ve already accepted your appointment, your parents can join the “West Point Class of 2025 Parents” Facebook page. It’s the official class page with great info sharing from the USMA parent Liaison.

Just heard today that R Day will have three different report dates this year, based on the company they are going to. June 26, 27, 28. They will be receiving a packet of info from admissions with their specific report date.

Do you know when the packets will be sent out?

The reality is the Army operates on their own timetable and according to their own needs. We adjust to them, not the other way around. I wouldn’t plan on hearing much before May. It will all work out, have faith.

Yeah I get it. Trust me! Active duty family of 26 yrs here, and counting. With quarantine on this end that doesn't look like its going away--my husband can only go to R Day if there will actually be any parent activities.

For anyone who still hasn’t heard, the days for RDay were released in an official correspondence as split between June 26, 27, 28th. Family and friends will most likely not be allowed to attend the usual ceremonies and it was said to assume it would just be a new cadet drop off.
