Hi does anyone familiar with how ROTC works and having a disability rating. I just recently been given a disability rating and am just beginning my AFROTC Course in the fall. Do I have to stop my disability payments once I'm contracted in the program or when active duty orders happen? Does it affect stipends?

I am currently beginning AFROTC.

If you have a disability rating you are going to have some difficulty getting DODMERB qualified, and pretty sure, at least,on the Army side, you have to give up that disability rating.

You have to be medically qualified to contract and commission. I do not know your condition, but the fact that you are on considered disabled, for whatever reason to me means you will have an uphill battle commissioning,
