(I put this in "off topic" because RPI is not a military college and I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to put it in the USNA forum. Please move it if this is out of place!)
Hey everyone!
Well, I'm starting to think about my Plan-Bs now, since I still have yet to hear anything from the Academy. So far, I have 5 acceptances (RIT, VT, Pitt, RPI, and Drexel), 3 WLs (GT, UMich and Bowdoin), and I only have 9 schools left to hear from (the Ivies and USNA).
As of right now, RPI is giving us the best Financial Aid package, so it seems like that is where I'll end up, unless I get into an Ivy League (they all meet 100% of demonstrated need) or USNA. My best friend's mom both attended and did NROTC at RPI, and she said she loved it. She told me, though, that since she was there back in the '80s, things may have changed. Does anyone have any recent experience with RPI's NROTC program? Or just their ROTC program in general? I'd love to hear about it!!
All feedback is appreciated, thank you!!
