I have applied for the January selection board. As of now, it's too late to change anything. I just wanted to know how difficult it would be for me to get a scholarship. I am now a high school senior. This for the Army ROTC program. I am applying as a Nursing major.

I have an ACT Score of 32 and a superscore of 33. My unweighted GPA is a 3.1 and weighted 3.4
I have played soccer since I was a sophomore so 2 years now. I have never played high school sports.
I volunteer over 40 hours a month. I volunteer at 2 different churches where I am a leader at both. I also volunteer at a hospital.
I work around 8 hours a week to provide support to my family and to save up for college.

I appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you

It is interesting that your tests score are good and yet your unweighted GPA is only 3.1. Not insulting the 3.1 gpa but typically 32/33 tests scores are ususally attached to higher gpa scores. Good luck

My DS received a 4year Army ROTC scholarship in the March 2018 selection board. Here are his stats:
1330 SAT
29 ACT
Weighted GPA: 98.11 Unweighted GPA: 92.06
Four Year Varsity Letter - Soccer
Captain Soccer Team- Senior Year
Eagle Scout
Boys State Delegate
National Honor Society Member

Good luck to you!

I don’t understand that GPA format. What is that equivalent to on the 4 point scale?

4.0 Weighted and 3.7 Unweighted. His HS used a GPA scale of 0-100.

My school and my school district has extremely difficult classes compared to the rest of the country. My scores are pretty high because they are on a national level but my GPA is low because of the difficulty of classes in my school

If that's true (wish I had a dime for every time I heard that - I could buy a latte), and I'm sure it is, then it will show up in the school profile in your transcript. You sound like a strong candidate but there are never any guarantees. Good luck.
