Can I get some advice on the difficulty getting a NROTC scholarship transferred to a school that my child didn't list in their top 4 in the application?
She's been accepted to a couple of schools she didn't list and after visiting a couple of schools she did list doesn't want to attend there.

When a NROTC scholarship is awarded, there will be instructions given and a form to request a transfer to a different school.

It is not difficult. The scholarship is tied to the recipient. Anything past #1 on the list is irrelevant - and that's only used so as to initially 'place' the scholarship after it's been awarded .

DD can use the scholarship at any school with an NROTC unit as long as she's been admitted by the school.
