I have officially begun my second ride on the roller coaster. I submitted my preliminary application, and will submit my deposit to my plan-B school next week. I plan to get the CFA done this summer before I leave for college and also have my HS transcripts and letters of rec submitted before the end of my senior year. Any advice?

Wait until mid semester (at least 6 weeks in) at college to rewrite your personal statements. College will change you after a few short weeks, and you want to give admissions something new to look at, right? Other than that, possibly study and sign up for the ACT's/SAT's again.

Thank you, he was notified Monday that he got the NROTC scholarship ( Marine Option). We are still waiting for any envelope from the Academy.

My DS found out Monday he is going to NAPS. Third time on the roller coaster received appointment from the fleet. Blessings to you all I will say a prayer for you

Absolutely took the offer from Foundation. Awesome program and best thing ever for DS. There are so many great schools that they partner with so you can find the best fit for your DS or DD.
