His squadron didn't get them back until early October but obviously other than playing music or videos loudly enough to be heard, generally in the evenings as long as they were smart enough to lock their doors, there didn't seem to be any restrictions! Although he also had Netflix on his computer by the end of August and pretty much anything you can do on a phone he could do more easily via computer (ie texting via FB instead of phone, talking via Skype instead of a phone, listening to music via Pandora or whatever the heck he uses), so getting the phone back wasn't that big of a deal - he was mostly glad to have it so when he borrowed a car a few times he could use it for the GPS/navigation features!
