Status change “appl closed no nom”

Can anyone advise what this status changes means? It went from under review to application closed - no nom. My son received a nomination to USMMA and the letter stated it was being sent to USMMA on Feb 7.
 
Have your son contact admissions. Errors do happen. I'm not sure when the deadline for noms was this year. Is it possible your nominator missed the deadline? If your DS has a copy of his nomination letter from his congressman, I would have him scan it and email admissions TODAY.
 
Hope your son get a correction!
I contacted my Admission officer at late of January to ask his opinion. Luckily my MOC sent out nomination next day. Some MOCs send out late, it’s better to let admission officer be aware of the situation.
 
So my done got an email stating it is missing and to reply within 48 hours if that is not correct. So we have sent the letter so hopefully it will be corrected tomorrow. Thank you!
