STEM acceptances?

If you check National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) they are offering a variety of leadership programs, law, medical, and STEM courses.

They are offering an 11 day STEM course at Georgia tech starting July 22. You may be able to still apply for it.

I'm not sure but their may be other STEM courses/dates at Berkley in California or Chicago.

These courses are much, much more expensive compared to USNA's STEM, which is primarily why I haven't signed up for them yet.

If I had the financial resources, I'd have signed up for the Medicine and Health Care camp at UC Berkeley in a heartbeat.

RE: STEM

Yes, it is expensive Jason. I think it could be good exposure, the STEM at Georgia Tech, if someone does not get in USNA STEM. At least you will be exposed to all the career possibilities that science, techology, engineering and math affords.

I do not know if it would help a future USNA application or for that matter any college application. At least the college counselor reading the application will likely realize the applicant didn't spend his entire summer playing video games and did something productive.

I'm trying to sign up for UCI Programming program, but I need to wait until STEM acceptance letters come.

Virginia?

Has anyone in Virginia received a STEM acceptance yet?

Any rising 8th graders?

Stem acceptance

Great news on your daughter's acceptance!

Congrats!

My son applied last year at the end of February with a decent application, and got his acceptance letter on April 6, 2012. He was in the 10th grade program and loved it. This year his 11th grade application was outstanding, with so many new honors to add. He applied the very first week of January this year, and we have heard nothing. No emails;no letter. It is agoninzing. We live in Tennessee.

No, unfortunately the deadline to submit apps comes tomorrow. Everyone will hear by the end of April.

STEM

Just a guess based on Summer Seminar notifications. That application window closed on April 1 and all notices went out one week later on the 8th. If STEM is the same, once the application closes out today, April 15th, we should know in a week.
