I submitted my application for the summer seminar on Jan 14th and nervously waiting to hear back. Did anyone hear back the decisions yet? Just curious.

For those who don't get in when decisions are made, don't be discouraged! I ended up not getting accepted into the summer seminar, feeling initially upset, but still managed to get an appointment. Good luck to all the applicants for 2025!

Even if you don't get selected don't lose hope! Many people are offered a paid visit to USAFA after SS if they did not get to attend also SS is seen as a means to spread interest in the Academy so don't think that not getting an offer will have any weight on your application

Yes there is a waitlist, I was waitlisted for all the Academy summer programs last year to include USAFA

I took the SAT again and improved my scores. I recommend all candidates do the same, if resources are available, until the start of their senior year. On the other hand, I actually took a half schedule at my high school but still had consistent grades, participation in the same clubs and sports.

It sounds like USAFA sends out summer seminar decisions all on the same date (Feb 20?) rather than rolling like USMA? Just what I can glean from the board. Anyone with more direct knowledge know about timing? Thank you.

Like"turtle7584" said above do not get discouraged about not getting into Summer Seminar. I applied last year and was not selected. yet yesterday I received a call from my congressman informing me of my appointment to the Academy

I would guess our portal is the same as all applicants at this point - "Applicant (Your Application is Under Consideration)"
