Take SAT after submitting application?

Hello, I have only taken ACTs, I have taken three plus writing, and my highest overall score was a 28. There are no more ACTs offered in January, and I was unable to take the December ACT because I had prior commitments that day. I recently found out there will be an SAT in January, and I want to take it to see if I can get a higher score on that. But if I submit my application to USNA and then take the SAT, will they still accept my scores?

Yes, I believe you can still add test scores to your file, and you should be able to add SAT scores to an already completed application. The only item I am not sure is whether you can submit them after 1/31/17, which is when the application process closes.
