Can anyone provide the guidelines for tattoos in ROTC? Are they allowed? If so, are there restrictions on location and/ or size? Is color allowed?

You would have to refer to the tattoo policy for the individual service branch for their policy. There are some variations between the services. For example, a young man I know wanted to join the Marines, but was disqualified due to a tattoo, but he was able to join the Army.

Thanks. DD will be AROTC.
 
I have already told my soon to be 8 year old daughter that if she ever has a wild hair to get a tattoo I will buy her the piece of jewelry of her choice. A deal with the devil, perhaps, but I am thinking it is a sound strategy, lol.

My wife and I took our daughter to get her first tattoo when she was 17. Not helicoptering but we had to sign.

My son, who's gonna make major this year, has several thousand dollars of ink in mostly legal locations. He got them all though after he commissioned.
