The Everything Drawer - Everyone has one, right? (post anything - within the rules)

I like the change of seasons here, and we only get a few snows like this or none at all, and the daffodils start coming up in late Feb. I enjoyed living in SD and HI and SF Bay Area and Monterey, but I like this the best. Gorgeous springs and falls, sultry summers reminiscent of childhood.

I like the fact these are color photos but the effect is stark B&W.

That's gorgeous, @Capt MJ. We bought a cabin in the woods of Maine this past April. Though the plan is to spend summer/fall in Maine and winter here in AZ, we are looking forward to a Christmas or two (or three) in the snow. Your view is stunning and so peaceful. I miss that (grew up in Michigan).

Thank you. We have woods on 3 sides of us. Great shade in summer, endless wildlife. I hope I can catch the candy apple red cardinal who likes to perch on the deck rail or the old red fox who shortcuts through the back when the boxers aren’t out there.

We're missing it down here on the "first Coast although it got colder overnight. Yesterday and most of last week we were in shorts as we rode our bikes or wandered with our son's family.

Here is a happy "little" fellow that we happened across on one bikeride.

We've "only" seen eight so far. Lots of birds and turtles, etc.

Sadly, back to the Northeast in a few days.

There were two gators who lived in the tidal creek in our development where I grew up. Their names were Izod and Lacoste.

I think Top Gun: Maverick is scheduled for a Memorial Day Weekend 2022 release

I have to wait that long to make fun of it?
If it's anything like the last one, they'll probably have to throw me out of the theatre.

It was 5 degrees by the end of the Packer game last night at Lambeau. I had to put on a sweatshirt and Mrs. Stealth even went so far as to get some gloves out.

My guess is that when you live in a place with 4'-0" fiberglass rods on fire hydrants, it's not cold until it's -40ºF.
(Yes everyone, those fiberglass rods are so that the firefighters can find the fire hydrants after it snows.)

Wisconsin only has two seasons.
This Winter and last winter.
