I did that last year and I haven’t broken the habit for this year. I finished my app in October last year and didn’t hear back until April 17th.

I KNOW it’s hard, but resist the temption to check your portal multiple times a day. Go out and enjoy your last few months of high school (but stay out of trouble!) and live your life! Last year my DS had an email at 5 something in the morning before every update. And reported appointments were trickle, trickle, trickle until the big wave in March! If the schedule holds true this year it’ll be another 2 1/2 months to wait....

Hahah we do that too. But the one time we don’t check it for about a week, it changes on us.

*gulp* It's gonna be a hard wait. My DS' app isn't technically due til 1/15, but he'll be all done as soon as he has his interview. Hopefully he hears in mid-March. If he's one of the later ones I worry his head might explode, lol

Funny thing about that, DS didn’t check his. Received a nom notice via email from his senator, went in his portal to see it and found he also already had another one from senior senator from a week prior (no notice from this senator)! Just took another peek this morning bc seeing on forums that there was some activity late last week...and found third nom from congressman on the 22nd. No email from USNA about it...so it’s not so bad to check every now and then [emoji16]. What pleasant surprises!!
