Good to know. Was relatively sure they were booked. May hold off for the next visit though. Definitely have to stay at least once or twice.
 
Do plebes get an opportunity to go home after A day or do they wait until Thanksgiving break?
 
Plebes generally get one pass a semester. Some earn more for various events...but yes, they can go home.
 
Limits....

On A-Day you will have a limit to how you can travel. Going into NYC is about the farthest you can go. You must be back on post every night during A-Day break

A-day is Saturday, until around lunch and when the cadet gets released depends upon their regiment/ company.

They can leave post, but have to be back by midnight.
They can leave again on Sunday around 6, I believe.

Ours( and most others) want to be back by mid afternoon so they can prep for the first day of class, which is Monday.

If it were FlyBoy's rules, the Cadets could stay off post Saturday night if they were with parents. It's an unnecessary disruption to bring them back saturday night and cuts into quality time. Then again, it ain't FlyBoy's show.

That's a long post to say if your cadet is coming home, it had better be within 75 miles of WP.
