Recently, Maplerock posted this word as a typo: fisqusligication (instead of "disqualification.").

I just thought this was about the best mis-type I had ever seen, and really, had been on that back end of fisqusligication several times over the years.

Some of you may have missed that post where this word was coined and I just wanted everyone to know about this new great word.

Got any others?

We have a weekly article in our newspaper about applying to college and proofreading was the subject today so this is great timing. The writer mentioned an applicant had said she was a "candy stripper" at the local hospital when she actually meant "candy striper." :biglaugh: Proofread, proofread, proofread.

I only had to get to the second one, Raimius: the second book of the Bible: Guinesses

You're right. Spellcheck won't catch that one!
