Unclear/Conflicting Info Received

I am an applicant Currently Boarded/Under Consideration, I was looking through the additional information section and in the application status page the description of B/UC is as follows

Boarded/Under Consideration: Applicants in this status have been reviewed by the October or January Selection Boards. Unfortunately these applicants were not selected to receive an offer from either board. However, these applicants remain under consideration and may receive an offer at the conclusion of our final Selection Board which is scheduled to convene on 3/18/19.

I've been keeping up with several threads hoping for extra info and have seen much to the contrary of this... however this is direct from the site, perhaps this is after results are published?
I realize I'm reading into things to an extreme but all info is treasured at this stage of uncertainty

I can quote a user FCH76 (supposably info direct from a reviewer which seems legit) who I read on a separate thread saying
"Yes, if you are boarded for the 1st round, you did not receive a scholarship this round. You will be looked at again at the next round. "

@Leander3 You probably read this post already, but the consensus seems to be there's no consensus. The flip-flopping status might mean you are going to be awarded the scholarship this board, or deferred into the next one. My DS's went from Boarded, to Boarded/UC, now back to Boarded.
Hopefully we'll all know something by Friday.

AROTC 1st Board

Is there anything I have to do in order to be ready for the first board? I have completed all of the required documents and have been at "board ready" status for about a month. It hasnt changed to "boarded" or "under consideration" yet.

If you are not awarded a scholarship by this board then you will be rolled into the next board and reconsidered. This happens to plenty of applicants who end up receiving a scholarship. It also happens to plenty of applicants who do not receive a scholarship. Keep working on backup plans and be prepared, if possible, to enroll in your favorite ROTC program without a scholarship. There are many paths to a commission.
 
It appears to me that what you are posting is from after the 2nd board winners were announces last year. This year, at least on the students I am tracking, the B/UC still reads
Boarded/Under Consideration:
This applicant is being considered by the first Selection Board that convened on 09 DEC 19. We expect to have results mid-January 2020. Continue to monitor this page for status updates.

They are all going to be boarded on the 2nd board. My guess is once the winners are announced, the B/U will change and those not selected will have a message saying they will be considered on future boards.
 
Despite applying in Oct, I didn’t hear until April for NROTC bc I kept getting rolled over until the next board. Best of luck, but be prepared to wait.
 
I'm confused? Where do you see this status as Boarded/Under Consideration? The only thing I see in the portal is that there are no missing items and "No decision has been made on your application". The completed application was sent in October. Does this mean it hasn't even been reviewed yet?

The OP is referring to Army ROTC.

What branch are you referring to?

There's no real consensus. Some applicants in "Boarded" received scholarships, some didn't. Some in B/UC received scholarships, some didn't.

You just gotta wait, I got on the first board but got rolled over.
